St David’s Hall has two bars on Level 3 and 5, the Celebrity Restaurant and Gallery on Level 1 and the newly refurbished Art Café Celf.

Visit this air conditioned café on Level 4 and enjoy quality locally produced food, including a wide range of sandwiches, baguettes, cakes and hot drinks. A comfortable and colourful place to relax, away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre below.

Celebrity Restaurant and Gallery

The Celebrity Restaurant has everything you need for an enjoyable meal, lunchtime or evening; comprehensive menu, friendly atmosphere, attentive service, comfortable surroundings and now featuring the work of local artists on the restaurant walls.

Choose from a wide-ranging lunch menu that aims to cater for all tastes, including a selection from the Carvery Counter and a ‘Lite Bites’ menu.

The superb evening menu of Welsh and European dishes includes a two-course 'Showsupper' with coffee or a two-course Carvery with coffee for just £13.95 per person.

Opening times: Monday – Saturday 12.00pm – 2.00pm and from 5.30pm when there is an evening performance – please check the individual event pages to see if the restaurant is open pre and/or post concert for any date you are interested in.

Level 3 and 5 bars


Avoid the queues at the interval, and order your interval drinks before the concert starts. Both bars offer this interval drinks ordering service during Level 3 functions such as the monthly jazz nights and big screen facilities during rugby internationals.

Functions


The food and drink facilities at St David’s Hall are operated by Cardiff Catering, an in-house catering service to all the council venues, including Cardiff Castle, City Hall, County Hall, The Mansion House and St David’s Hall. The company offers a very flexible and versatile service, which can cater for all size and types of function, including catering for a wide variety of dietary requirements.

From a simple buffet lunch for informal meetings to full silver service for gala dinners for heads of state to themed menus to suit your corporate needs; Cardiff Catering have comprehensive experience of all types of requirements.
