The Vienna Tonkunstler Orchestrais Vienna’s cutting edge orchestra, combining the sound of the great Viennese tradition with a contemporary reputation for precision and finesse. For their first Cardiff visit they are joined by Angela Hewitt in the golden lyricism of Beethoven’s Fourth Piano Concerto. With their new Chief Conductor Yutaka Sado (a protege of Bernstein and Ozawa) on the podium, sparks are guaranteed to fly in Dvořák ’s New World Symphony.
